Good Posture and Structural Integration
of the body is not an end but a past of general well being.
Many of us have integrated different forms of exercises such
as core training, yoga, pilates as part of our daily
exercises. Ideally posture instruction and training should
become a part of general experience rather than be a
separate discipline. To the extent that parents and teachers
are cognizant of good postural habits and able to recognize
the influences and habits that tend toward development of
good or faulty posture, they will be able to contribute to
this aspect of well-being in the daily life of the growing
individual, whether he/she is a kid or someone in the
seventies.
While instruction can be given, it
should be simple and accurate; while it must not be
neglected, neither should it be overemphasized. This is a
core aspect in any posture exercises you are doing. It
should be given in such a manner as to capture the interest
and cooperation, even as a child as well.
This has emphasized on the overall
Structural Integration of the body besides looking at the
postural faults. There will be a need to get the balance
through the work from the Rolfing perspective before any
posture exercises can be done.
Improving your posture will also depends your your various
ages , postural alignment, different conditions and your
activities which you engage in.
